The Driftwood Nature Center is a sanctuary for learning. Nestled atop a knoll, the architecture overlooks the creek below and the surrounding countryside. Educators and pupils are immersed in the landscape through means of diverse environments, in turn yielding different experiences and different learning outcomes. These environments consist of outdoor classrooms, gardens, exhibition hall, and most notably, the live/work studios. Within each environment, users will experience architecture in its rawest form. Senses of sight, touch, smell, and hearing are activated throughout the Nature Center by means of nature alone and/or architectural operations.
